Bond cleaning and end of lease cleaning are often used to describe the same process, but the terms can sometimes confuse tenants. Both mean a deep and detailed clean of a rental property at the end of a tenancy to meet the standards of landlords or property managers. The goal is to return the place to its original condition, aside from normal wear and tear, so the bond or deposit can be refunded. While some people think bond cleaning is more thorough, in reality both involve the same tasks like scrubbing kitchens, bathrooms, carpets, windows, and leaving the property spotless.
